Trust & Foundations

Young Roots is proud of the strong, supportive and purposeful relationships we have developed with a large number of Trusts and Foundations.

The grants we receive help us to make a tangible difference to the lives of the many young refugees we work with across London.

If you are a representative or Trustee of a Trust or Foundation and would like to find out more about Young Roots, or if you work for a company or organisation that has the opportunity for employees to nominate chosen charities for a grant, please get in touch by emailing  rachel@youngroots.org.uk

We'd be delighted to invite you to visit our services and discuss how a contribution made by your Trust / Foundation will help us to support young people.

We have a deep understanding of the complex challenges young refugees face in their daily lives and we work with them, from the basis of belief, trusted relationships and with a strengths-based approach, to fulfil their potential.

The funding we receive changes lives in important ways, helping us work with young refugees, in collaboration with expert partners, to provide holistic support at the earliest opportunity and throughout the transition from childhood to adulthood. We support young people to understand and navigate their changing rights and entitlements, as well as supporting their emotional development during these crucial years.

Young Roots is a safe haven in a stressful life. They motivate us, are really good at advising us, and are reliable in our stressful times. An accepting community but where we can also have privacy. The team help ground me. They are close to me and feel like my family. There are memories from Young Roots that will stay with me forever and will always help carry me forward.
